My first suggestion would be to start with the "Lake Links" button on the homepage of this site. Once there, click on "Accommodations", or other related areas, to access a really thorough list of websites for area hotels, motels, cottages, etc. This way, you can "check out" the various options first hand, so to speak.
It's really hard to make any one recommendation without a little more info. For instance, would you prefer a quaint little spot, or a place in the thick of things? Do you prefer a cottage style rental, or a hotel with indoor pool? The more info you can provide, the more we can help narrow down our recommendations.
