Yesterday morning I was going Southeast on Cherry Mountain Road and at the lights in Gilford there were two ambulances, several police cars and some heavy equipment partially blocking the intersection. Further on, before I reached Gunstock, I passed two more ambulances heading toward the intersection. I watched the WMUR TV news and checked todays Laconia Daily Sun and found no mention of it. Does anyone know what was going on?
