US Cellular partners with Verizon, meaning, if you can't get a US tower, it will roam to Verizon. That is, if you can't receive a US signal at all, you will go Verizon, the key is "at all", but you will never be without signal anywhere US or Verizon works. I'm very happy with US, great plans, ALL incoming is free (voice/pictures/text/media) and that includes roaming within Verizon territory.
