That's a lot of territory to hate...
It can take me 12 hours to drive from Florida's southernmost point to Florida's
panhandle city of Pensacola (FL).

It can be 16º in Pensacola, while in the same hour it's 78º in Ft. Lauderdale.
It's mostly a state for the out-of-doors types, but many would live elsewhere if there was no air-conditioning available.
