Here's a bit of a link between the deceased mother of the shooter and New Hampshire.

Today's Dec 20 New York Post has a story that the shooter's mother stayed at the Mt Washington hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, between Tuesday 12:10pm Dec 11, and Thursday 12:27pm Dec 13, for about 48-hours and was registered alone(?), while presumably leaving her 20-year old son, the shooter, home alone back in Newtown.

290-miles is the distance between Bretton Woods, NH, and Newtown, Connecticut which probably makes it a five to six hour drive.

She was supposedly shot and killed while sleeping sometime early on Friday morning, Dec 14, in Newtown.

Have to wonder how much did she pay to stay at the Mount Washington Hotel, and what type car and color was she driving?
