Motorcyle policies do not have a "weather must be clear and dry, with temperatures in the 50's or higher" clause.

Some policies, at least the one's that were written by the company I worked for, expired on Dec. 31st each year, and required the policyholder to contact his/her agent to reinstate it on or after Jan 1st. this could, of course be done in advance.
