I know they are all around me here in Laconia. Coyotes, fisher cats, deer, bobcats, bears, etc. I haven't seen or heard any but of course they are everywhere...I've been looking and listening. In contrast, a city in Mass. Like Waltham. Densely populated, 7 miles from Boston, with highways right through the middle is loaded with deer coyote and fisher cats. My sister was crossing her street the other night, a very busy neighborhood, and two coyotes came out of the bushes and stalked her ****zu. They are so brazen. Maybe they are just smarter up here with enough food sources to stay hidden. I figured it would be wild kingdom when I moved here, so far nothing...not even a raccoon !!!
I do keep my animals in at night because I'm sure they will get eaten if I don't.
