I've had good luck with wind forecasts at

But in this case it just predicted yet another day of water dribbling over my breakwater, where I'm sure I wouldn't go out, but I didn't fear for my boat. Yesterday I guess there was a little extra special sauce involved.

Fortunately I do have a dock on the quiet side of BBD too, so if I get out here and find the broads rough, I can chicken out and head there.

Now that I have a reasonable internet connection (yes Virginia, there is DSL on BBD), there is another webcam in our future.
