Default Google TV

Thought I would give it a try.
Got the Logitech Google TV receiver @ $99.00 and not the Sony @ $249.00.
The Logitech come with a set top receiver and a regular wireless keyboard that also can be programed for most/all TV functions.
No subscription fees for Google TV.
You do need high speed internet/broadband.
You can go wired or wireless.
If wireless you do need a good high speed router.

The Logitech Google TV is something like the old WebTV but more.
There is quite a bit of live streaming if one desires. I watch Twit TV - Leo LaPorte from the old Tech TV days. He runs a 24 hour internet only technology TV station.

Others such as YouTube are free.
Netflix requires a subscription fee.

Google TV is not for everyone. But for some combine this with OTA antenna and there is enough to watch and cable and satellite can possibly be dumped.

Only Sony offers televisions with Google TV built in. And only 3 sizes or 3 models of their TV's.
