[Sandy Island fan]

At Sandy Island Family Camp, food is included in the price to be there. Campers come for the week, and the cost per camper is based on their age. Because we do have campers of all ages - from babies to seniors - we do try to provide reasonable options for all. Many of our campers bypass the hot foods offered at the lunch buffet, and just visit the salad bar.
We generally have two of the kitchen staff that work primarily on the salad bar prep, and keep very busy keeping the salad bar stocked during meal times. I don't know how that would play out at a restaurant. (We know exactly how many people will be eating with us!)
We have a high return rate of families coming back year after year, so we try to make our campers happy!
