On my second Cp-180I (internal antenna) Love it.. Last one went with the boat and I immediately went out and bought another identical one.
I could navigate without it but why would you wanna...
If you shop around I bet you could get one with the chip (if the 190 needs it) for under $500...Worth it all day long
