Here's a look down at the edge of Alton's "Back Bay" on the south side of rte 11 next to the Advent Campground. Notice the ice breaking away from shore here in this quiet cove. In a few places it was 18-24 inches from the shore. Also could notice the lake level down two feet or so...of course we have a flood watch for Monday into Tuesday due to the rain coming in on 3-28 & 3-29.
