Any idea what type of a car, and what started the fire?

If the car was covered by an insurance policy, the insurance company could maybe try to get repaid by the car maker if the cause can be determined to be a manufactorer's defect like an electrical wiring defect recall, or something.

Last I heard, the Castle in the Clouds is a Moultonborough non-profit and uses its non-profit status to exempt itself from local Moultonborough property taxes. This could mean that the fire department's service and drive up the mountain road to get to the fire is basically paid by the Moultonborough property tax payers who do pay their bills. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but that's what I read about the Castle and their tax exempt status.
