I checked that was a Tuesday afternoon! I goggled the date for news or events that could possibly caused such a big number.
I got nothing. 
Any ideas before it drives me nuts?

That surge of visitors was because of
this thread. A link to that thread appeared on a popular Model T site that day and a lot of people came over and viewed it.
