Default Condo association

I would love to go solar or geothermal. Problem is that the condo association is reluctant to change the condo rules to go green. i.e. no changes to the outside of the structures. That includes solar panels on the roof and or heat pumps on the outside.

There is a company in Brighton Mass, that convince me that I can go geothermal with a condensed heat pump on an inside wall. They can drill the well without a protusion from the ground. It is pretty slick but the price is in the stratosphere. Even with a rebate from National Grid and the feds.
