I have friends that live in a shallow part of the lake, after a number of years (including one where they had to leave their crusier at the dock over the winter and set up fans to battle ice) they got rid of the cruiser and Cigarette boat and went with a jet drive bow rider that is able to get in and out of their dock no matter the water level.
