Feeding
A friend of mine that lives in Dracut Mass. told me the Cambodians in the Lowell Lawrence area consider black dogs and cats a delicacy. So don't give black animals away. Not sure if this is true but...

Humane Society
is your best bet. However they are adamantly requesting a large donation to drop of your pet. Because of this, most pets ends up on the streets and the animal control officer will bring them in.
