Dogs

They are wonderful companions. They become such important members of the family. Have no idea why their lifespans are so short. It almost seems like a sin , there is no devotion like a dogs.

Welch Island Compound

Exploring google earth today, I noticed a large compound on welch island. This place has more dock space than some marinas. Is that someone's private residence? Just curious?

Wow, hearty souls. We used to water ski with wet suits up until October. Used to get a feeling of owning the lake. Some early mornings the water was just as smooth as glass. Good old memories for me.

I remember that place well. Those type of stores all had there own personalities. Each one , interesting on its own. Much different than today's mega stores. Nice to see that piece of history, thanks.
