His suggestion was lacquer thinner. From hardware store.

You bet. Now. I don't want to be near any DPW line painting. This stuff is completely different for the stuff a few years ago. This stuff lingers in the air. Even the cars going the other way...

DPW Line Painting
Well, I was 3 cars behind the line painting DPW truck. The white line on right.
My vehicle never touched the freshly painted white line.
But the white line paint did get on my vehicle.
