Great Time at The Pound
 

Went Friday Night to the Lobster Pound. Had a fantastic lobster meal (I think it was closer to 3 pounds than 2). Great corn bread, fantastic service. Big Mike came out and said Hi. A great guy to meet. Thanks for everything Mike. The mushroom and calamari sides were excellent as well.

Today, we're back at the LP.

Went to the top deck, and got soaked. We took off for the main bar and ordered lunch. She had a shrimp dish, I had both the baby back ribs and the lobster roll. I'm certainly glad I didn't order the double stuffed roll. Quite honestly, the best lobster roll I've had in years. The ribs were excellent as well.

Unfortunately, I ate not only the entire lobster roll, but the ribs as well. I could do without the fries, I'd prefer chips.

I'd recommend the LP to anyone. Great service, good food, and I Thought, reasonable prices. Great place you have there Mike, we enjoyer it immensely, twice. :)

The Lobster Pound has made great strides since the new owners have taken over. I know they got off to a bad start, but what a difference a year makes. I have been there several times this summer, each time was as good as the one before.. If you have not visited it - get there !!
