Motion Sensored Cameras?

I know there are a few people on this site who have them and have shared their pictures of various "creatures" who wander in front of the camera with us, so my question is; can anyone recommend a good one and give me an estimate on the cost?

It's not going to be used for security purposes. I just think it would be a cool gift for my dad for Father's Day, considering our place in on Bear Island and it drives him crazy that he can't be up there from November until April.

I'm looking for one that only takes pictures when something walks by. All the ones I researched on line are hi-tech security cameras.

Thanks in advance.

Check out Cabelas

They have quite a selection.

Here is a (relatively) inexpensive one loaded with features

bass pro - cabelas - etc

you can find them in any sporting type stores hunting/fishing or in their catalogs - my brother-in-law has been using them for years to check out trails for activity before he sets up his stand -- one year he made the mistake of mentioning at a holiday family get together that he had it set up on a trail in the woods out back - haha i couldnt wait to sneak off for an after dinner walk -- his camera is older and has film in it that he takes to get developed, needless to say when he picked it up along with some turkeys, deer and a coyote pics he had captured a full moon rising!:D

Great suggestions and links! And to think, one of my best friends is the manager of the fishing department at Bass Pro...brain freeze!!

And Shoppes...that's hysterical!!! Sounds like something I'd do!!

My web cam at http://www.blackcatcam.com/ is a Panasonic BL-C30A. As you can see, the resolution it's only 640x480 and the focus leaves something to be desired, but it's fairly inexpensive at around $175 on eBay. Although I don't use it that way for the cam it can be set up as a motion sensor. I have others that I have set up at the camp that will send me a text (with a picture attached if I like) to my phone or email.
