Mail in Boating Certificate Test?
I noticed on the New Hampshire boating certificate web page there is an option to order an on-line video which comes with a mail in test. Has anyone out there ordered this video and mailed in their test? I find this interesting since you can no longer take the test on line. I would assume the mail in test must be recognized in New Hampshire if this option is given on their web page.

My brother took his test that way, but that was before the online test was banned too, so it was way back! I don't know if you can still do that.

The Devil is always in the details.... All you are mailing in is a test that verifies you completed the course. you must then still apply and pass a proctored exam in NH before you are issued your certificate. From the website mentioned: ...The course completion slip that you obtain when you pass the course will serve as your admittance ticket to a proctored examination... |
That's NOW , right Skip? You USED to be able to do it that way without the proctored exam?

For everything you need to know about the NH Boater Certificate you can peruse all the infromation presented HERE at the very informative NHMP website....:) |
FYI - you can also take the "pre-test" online. If you pass you print out a confirmation sheet then call two days later to schedule your proctered exam.
