Dry/Trailer storage for small boat in Moultonboro?

Hi folks!

Looking forward to another awesome summer!
This year, I'm hoping to find a spot to park my boat in Moultonboro area for the summer. In past years, I've trailered it back and forth to/from Boston.

I don't come up often enough to warrant a slip (or rack for that matter) yet.

It's a 17.5 foot bowrider on a trailer.

Anyone have suggestions where I should look? Rough idea of rates?

Thanks!

Jon

if you want a storage area/rack to store your boat, try Harilla Landing Yacht Club. On Long Island off the neck in Moultonboro. 603-253-4592 speak with Andy. New storage building and valet service. not sure on rates for a rack rental.

If your going to the Suissevale area of moultonborough call Ambrose Cove Marina. Small place but they rack boats there.

Give Lanes End marina a call. They are in Tuftonboro. I stored my boat there for about $3.50/day last year in there yard.

It sounds as if this gentleman maybe looking for a storage type shed to put his boat and trailer into and not necessarily a marina.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll call them and see what I can find out. In past years, I've taken maybe two or three day trips up to Winni. Also, I rent a lakefront cabin for 1-week/season. There's also a boat launch near my house that goes in to Boston Harbor (tho I MUCH prefer Winni!).

This year, I'm hoping to sell my current house and move to a slightly bigger place. But that means I won't have as much time for boating. If that's the case, I prefer to leave it in Moultonboro & maybe launch it a handful of times. That way my boating days are really "getaways"

Eventually, I'll move up there for good.

Down the line a slip or rack makes sense, but not yet. The boat's small enough that it launches very easily w/ one person.

Thanks for your help!

I would think that if your only here a handfull of days and towing a 17 ft boat it would make sense to trailer it.It's probably going to cost you at least $300 to leave it somewhere.Maybe that's worth it to you.

Yes. It does make sense to trailer until my house goes on the market. When it does, the rented POD will occupy the space my boat normally takes. Space is more of an issue down this way!

That's why I'm hoping to leave it in NH. Make sense?
