Jet Ski Dock Rules

Hello,
Long time reader first time poster. Does any one know the DES rules on the crank up jet ski lifts, or the roll on ones, that just go in 1-2 feet of water.

I too am wondering the same thing. I see the roll out versions with 8 foot extensions. If they are placed on land and and not even touching the water are there any restrictions and permits required?

You need a PBN (Permit by Notification) from DES.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Do you think the drive on Jet-docks qualify as a PWC lift since it is essentially doing the same thing at the crank up versions just without touching the lake bed?

I'd be curious to get that answer as well. I did a PBN for my PWC lift but one of the things they seemed most concerned about was that the lift was adjacent to my existing dock, essentially taking up one of my slips. You are allowed X number of slips based on frontage. By adding a lift and not taking up one of those slips you are skirting the rules by adding another slip. I don't know if the Jet-Docks need a PBN or not, but because they do take up a slip space I have no doubt they would give you one.
