Happy Leap Day

Heads Up Less... this may be your day! :):)

It may not be Sadie Hawkins Day... but you never know. You may want to make up a sign for the back of your Ski jacket today while your at the mountain. ;)

Hey there ladies, my specialty is wealthy widows that go to dance class at least three times/week, drive a new Mercedes, and have no kids! Someone else's old money is the best money! See you out on the slopes.....will be cruis'n the lower intermediate, green square, Oblivion Trail. I'll be the only one on the mountain still not using these new shaped skis and wearing the same pullover parka from 1962!:D

If only I was a wealthy widow FLL.That a tempting offer!

Just remember less, anything that happens today didn't really happen. At least not for the next 4 years.

OK,what's the odds of this?I have a friend who's birthday is on leap day 52 years ago.Her sister was born 4 years later on the same day!That makes them 12 and 13.

I'm trying to figure out what you mean Steve. Are you suggesting that Less may get ... uh ... lucky on the slopes and latch on to a wealthy widow? Or are you suggesting that Less's wife (or significant other, if there is such) should use the day to take a LEAP :laugh: ? Are you pandering to Less's fantasy? Inquiring minds want to know ... or do I want to know ?

So who figures out all this stuff anyway? Add a day every 4 years, add a second every once in a while... I mean is there some high paid over staffed government agency that spends a fortune to calculate these adjustments? :) Maybe we have wacky weather because they are unwittingly throwing the calender out of alignment?

Anyway, Happy Leap Day to all.

Pander (Verb): give what is desired or needed, especially support, food or sustenance;

Our buddy FLL has made it apparent in a number of previous posts that he was currently, and constantly, looking for the "support" of a rich widow. :eek:

I was just tring to help him out by pointing the traditional importance of Leap Day. ;)

Maybe Skip can represent me if I'm formally charged with any of the other definitions of pandering.. :rolleye2:
