I am looking for a local dealer that sells reliable used outboards for a reasonable price.

I've never encounterred any that specialise in used motors. Probably the best you can do is explore the 2nd hand racks and see what kind of warranty is offerred. Some times the smaller shops will have one or two near-cherry units, or vintage models, on display.

For finding an outboard from an individual seller try this website's classified or craig's list new hampshire. Did a search there on outboard and got 184 matches.
