Help Wanted Around The Lake

This seems to be the second summer i think where there have been so many " Help Wanted" signs on so many places. Just wondering if anyone knows why this is? No one around? Pay too low? I think of moving up to the Meredith/Moultonborough area, but would want to know if there are any jobs where you can not only make an okay living and a decent boos or am I shooting for the stars? I have management, retail and administrative experience but could not be a bartender or waiter only because I do not have those talents.

Anyways, anyone with any insight, etc. please let me know. Is this the new "normal"?

I know a few weeks ago Buckeys had a sign saying they were closed I believe on Tuesday's due to lack of staffing.

Everybody is looking for help. There are too many jobs for people who want to work. There is another thread on here discussing this.

Interesting comment, tis. My presumption has been that these were mostly low paying and/or seasonal jobs without a decent benefits package. I'd love to hear that this is an incorrect assumption.

I believe there are a lot of jobs out there -all kinds. Most people I have talked to have had a hard time finding help in the last year or so. Demand is high.

Don't hold your breath waiting to get actual job openings that pay decent wages with good benefits..around here anyway.
