Kayak found off Belnap Point
 

While fishing this morning I found a Kayak floating off Belnap Point. The wind was blowing hard toward Diamond and I figure it was not secured properly. It may have come out of Saunders Bay. Let me know if you lost one overnight or this morning.

Please make sure yo give Marine Patrol a call and let them know you found it just in case the owners call. Thanks!

Any chance it was occupied when it went adrift?

Please consider putting your name and number in paint pen or engraving it on your unregistered water craft. That way MP can quickly determine it is only adrift, not a person lost.

I received a call this morning from the owner who described the make, model and color. So I will be delivering the Kayak to the rightful owner. I did notify Marine Patrol the day I recovered it and I assume that is how the rightful owner contacted me.
