How close is close?
 

Although my guess on this site's contest was 11:22 a.m. on 4/22, I guessed 11:22 am on 4/20 in the contest sponsored by the Mount Washington Cruise site. I wonder if anyone was closer than that to the actual 11:33 am??

I guessed the 20th on the Mt. cruise, but do not remember what time I selected. Guess we just wait to see!

Picking ICE OUT is an exact science, not horse shoes or hand grenades. You need the time right down to the second. ;)

I find it rather funny that they call ice out down to the minute, so I guess that at 11:32 there was still ice in the way but at 11:33 it was gone.....

No matter - it's all gone, let the boating season begin! :banana:

Cruise
 

I took a cruise around the lake Friday. Ice out may be declared but there is a lot of debris on the lake. The water level reminds me of the level back in 1998. I pray to God we don't have another no wake situation like back in '98. :eek:
