Did anyone attend? How was it?

Oktoberfest....

We're sure the cool weather kept some away but the outside lawn / gazebo location afforded the turnout of hardy folks (some even German) room to roam and eat. The food.... Chef Hoke's Oktober Feast was superb as always. There was a bar set up and plenty of warm spots with portable fire pits set up and burning. A great Fall afternoon and lotsa great food and desserts. Thanks for the hospitality, Wolfeboro Inn!

I second every word that Hermit Cover said and we also met many friends that we haven't seen in awhile. It was a bit chilly and if it had been a tad bit warmer I think myself and a few others may have stayed longer as it was well presentation done by all. :)

Got there a little later, but had a nice dinner sitting by the fireplace.

Thank you all for the kind words regarding Oktoberfest. While Hoke and I appreciate the accolades, ALL credit must go to Alijah Murphy (Executive Sous Chef) and Heather Redfield (Wolfe's Tavern Spvr.) as they came up with every idea and food item that we had the pleasure to present to you on Saturday.

We are both extremely proud of them and consider ourselves lucky to have them on our team.

I'd love some thoughts for next year's Oktoberfest. We were kicking around the idea of having The Belle's final voyage be a "Floating" Oktoberfest??? Please feel free to email me any ideas at [email protected]. We appreciate all the sponsors and The Caroline Ramsay Band!!!

Thank you all for coming and a special shout out to our big winner, Joe Madzar!!
