Cleared mountain top Atlon/Gilford line
 

I can't tell exactly where it is but someone cleared a mountain top near the Alton/Gilford line. It's not the logging they did on the Ames Farm property. It's behind that and up very high. When I say cleared, I mean bulldozed. It looks like someone scalped 50 acres off the top of the mountain. Does anyone know who/what this is going to be?

That was logged about 2 years ago. You can access the site on 11A, Cherry Valley Road, nearly across from Laura Lane. They left a bridge across the West Alton Brook so you can hike up the skidder trail to nice views. Most of the property was selective cut except for the summit. I don't know why they clear cut the top nor am I aware of any development plans.
