Drive Way Sealer
A few questions:
1) What should this service cost per square foot, etc; My driveway is approximately 125 feet long with room to park 15 or so cars at the top. 2) Is there a difference between water based and oil sealers; I received my first quote of $1,400 for "oil" based sealer. This quote seems through the roof. |
Driveway Sealer
I paid $0.10/sq ft for both water based and oil based. The oil based got into the minor cracks and survived much longer. Last oil based application was 2 years ago and stiil looks decent.

If you have a 5000 square foot driveway, and it is ready to be sealed, then it shouldn't cost you anymore then $800 to have it done. Good luck. |

Unknown name
There is a guy that I've met that does a great job of filling cracks and sealing driveways. I do not know his name but maybe someone from Southdown can help you. He seals many of the association roads throughout Southdown and from the reports I've heard his work sealing driveways is great.
He uses oil based sealer of commercial grade not the stuff you buy in the 5 gallon pales. Wish I had one of his cards. Good luck. |
