NH Boat Museum APBA Regatta
 

Another spectacular Regatta put on by the Boat Museum and countless number of volunteers, and the enthusiastic response by the spectators and the great participation by the boaters and associates.

It is hard to find the right combination of words to describe these past days of Regatta. The weather on Friday presented some issues (wind), but today was made to order for regatta Activities on Wolfeboro Bay.

I can't say enough good things about the event, and I am already looking forward to the 2013 Regatta.

We went for a while by boat and it was really fun. We have never gone by boat before, always went by car down to the docks. Course you can't see the boats up close and personal "offshore".

We spent the day there on the boat and it was great to see. I took a bunch of pictures and videos that I will post when I get home. I would have liked to see the boats up close at the docks but couldn't by boat. So next year we may drive over to see what that is like.

And we called wolf city pizza and they delivered to the gas dock, great pizza and dockside service!

Great Event!
 

It's hard to beat Brian's great pictures but here's a few that I took. I also shot some video that I'll try to edit this week.

Boat Show
 

In addition to the APBA Regatta this past Friday and Saturday in Wolfeboro, there was a 10 day gathering of the steamboats at Lee's Mills this past weekend and the week before.

My wife and I, and my brother and his wife, spent most of Friday and Saturday enjoying the speedboats, and we spent Sunday enjoying the steamboats. We found the owners/operators of both sets of boats to be extremely cordial, actively interested in talking with spectators, and a complete joy to associate with during the day.

We are already looking forward to the future to enjoy their next visits.

Again, thank you to all the boat owners for having these shows.
