Question On Performance Boat

Is anyone familiar with the performance boat that normally parks in the yellow boat house just to the right of the Glendale town docks when looking from the water. The brand name on the boat is "Outer Limits". This boat looks absolutely amazing and I was just curious if anyone has any technical info on it such horsepower, max speed, price, etc, etc. Every time I see that boat I am amazed!! It's a real looker!!

Thanks!

Dan

I think that is a different boat house you are thinking of. This one is yellow only has two doors. It's directly to the right of the town docks. Sometimes there is one of those big bouncy type rafts floating in front of it. One heck of a boat there!

The boat is 52 outerlimits with twin 1200 HP Chief engines. By the way, it's for sale.

I didnt see it in the boathouse until recent and thought it was sold. Last year I saw it out and it looks like something from a james bond movie !

here is an article I found on it also

What's the point of having a 130 MPH boat on a lake with a 45 MPH speed limit? :rolleye1:

DEJ 06-28-2010 08:06 AM

Boat type

Most family style bow riders on the lake can go faster than the speed limit, guess it is just personal preference.

jrc 06-28-2010 08:08 AM

my car will do 120 mph and the road speed limit is 65 mph.

Let's not turn this into a speed limit debate, I started this thread because I really love the looks of this boat and just wanted some info on the performance specs.

Thanks!!

Outerlimits makes a gorgeous product. They are all custom built. This is the biggest offering in their lineup. The boat has AC, LED lighting in the bilge, etc

Outerlimits is built right down in R.I. One of the best out there!

Well Dan, that would make a nice island boat. Quick trips over and back, easy on gas and low maintenance. You might have to add a bit to your dock/breakwater.

Hi Alan;

No worries Alan... I have no intentions of buying that boat or anything like it! Way too impractical for what I would use it for. Do you think trolling for Salmon would be out of the question though?? :)

Hope all is well!

I was just kidding you Dan but the trolling might work out fine. Just get a tow line on Dave's barge and the Outerlimits should troll down nice.

BTW Dave did a very good job on the breakwater when he eventually got there.
