Missing (or stolen) pickup buoy floats

Hi all,

I’m located on the northeast side of Bear Island and yesterday afternoon after taking my boat off one of my moorings I noticed that the floats to my pickup buoys on each mooring were missing. The “wand” part of the pickup buoy was left behind. They were purchased and installed together a few years ago but showed no signs of wear that would have me think one, let alone both, would fall off in the middle of the same night. I’m assuming this is the result of bored teenagers pulling pranks but wanted to let the forum know and see if anyone else in the area has noticed similar or other missing items.
