Exit 24 in Ashland - 8/29/10
 

Was anyone around this exit around 4:30 yesterday? We were coming onto 93 from Ashland and had to stop because there was a car partially blocking the on ramp. We saw that the reason was there were 2 dogs RIGHT in the Breakdown lane of the highway looking terrified.....one looked like an elderly Aussie and the poor thing was trembling.....

We didn't stop because we had our 3 dogs in the car and we were afraid that if they started barking they might spook the highway dogs to bolt across the road.

As we pulled around the stopped car, we saw several cars pulling over to the side of the road so we're hoping that someone was able to rescue them.....

If anyone was around that area or heard anything, please let me know......
