Steam Boat this weekend
Thinking about heading over to watch the steam boat parade on Sunday. I am on the broads in LSP and know how low the water is getting out of our marina. Anyone have any water hazard reports for way in the basin area? I'm a little worried to go way into the no wake zones with the low water levels. I'm a ver experienced boater (almost 40 yrs on the lake) so I'm not looking for how, just conditions. Don't need to wreck my outdrive if I don't need to.

Water level
No problems with water level in and around lee mills or greens basin. Took a ride up to see the steamboats today. Well worth the trip from Alton Bay. Cool boats!

I understand that the parade starts at 2pm. Where does the parade go? Any recommendations for where to anchor for a good vantage point?

This is on Sunday? And it goes to 19 Mile Bay? For some reason I thought that was Wed. Just want to make sure it is Sunday. Thanks.

Great week for the steamboats with no weather problems.
Does anyone know why the trailers for the steamboats are not at the usual location, Lions Club? they are parked on 109 and some other places. which are not that convenient to Lees Mills. |
