12V air compressor for water toys?
Looking for 12V air compressor recommendations for use on the boat. Anyone have experience with the outdoor master shark? A nice feature is that it has its own 12A fuse to as a safety feature ahead of tripping a breaker on the boat.

When I researched a few years ago, there weren't (m)any 12v inflators that could achieve high-enough pressure to inflate our Big Mable and other tow tubes, so I went with these two: the first to do 90% and the second to get the high pressure. That system has worked out really well both in terms of flexibility and outcome.

Great point on the overall pressure required. Sounds like a very reasonable approach (and far less expensive).

We use Airhead electric pumps. We have a 12v with battery clips as well as a 120v.

We use the same combination of pumps as Thinkxingu, and found they work well for a Big Mable tube.

Thanks to everyone for your experienced advice. Really looking forward to the next boating season!

Have this version more or less (different brand but essentially same exact pump). Works great for all our inflatables (tubes, tow sports, inflatable dog ramp etc.) but won't get to the right PSI for our paddle boards. Once it hits pumps max, we switch over to hand for the final 3-4 PSI and good to go.
