A Crow
I love photographing Crows. They are always a challenge; smart, skittish and difficult to get a proper exposure on. I got this one today, right here in Laconia.

Crow vs. Raven Identification...Use Cawtion...?
Common Raven or American Crow?
Crows are seen everywhere. Ravens prefer rocky heights. Scruffy neck feathers usually mean Raven, but the below images don't clear up the difference. I'd go with the call. The Raven "croaks": The Crow "caws". https://www.wildawareutah.org/wp-con...11-300x167.jpg https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...KyzczZSJl08a30 . |
