Average Age of Forum Users

The recent deaths of a few forum members and the accompanying pictures got me wondering about the average age of the forum's users. Anyone know? At 39, I'm thinking I'm on the low end?

LIforrelaxin 11-25-2015 10:33 AM

Well being the Math Geek I am I found the average... in this thread to be 54.5 years old....

Thanks to guys like Pineneedles, Kamper, and Maxum of course I had to do a little bit of arithmetic just to get their ages... but hey that made it fun....

At the end of the day however every time I meet someone from the forum, I realize we are all the same.... we don't want to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave M 11-25-2015 11:33 AM

Its only a number

I'm 69. Luckily I have good genes from my mother(she's 90). Luckily I don't have any health issues. Yes its taking me longer to do things and do feel aches now and then. Like the saying goes "The brain is willing but the body not so much".

Happy Thanksgiving

June 25 1931 that makes 84 going on 85. After looking thru the forum it looks like we are the oldest so far. We lived thru all the same years and you are probably a combat vet from Korea. Drafted in 52. Our life experiences would probably be similar. Good luck .

Great analogy Dave! :) Happy Thanksgiving to you...
And now for The Rest of the Story, behind the picture.
When Dad was drafted into the Army, by that time he and Mom already had 7 children, they married young, by the way. So, the Army not wanting to put Dad in harms way, offered him a deployment to work on the Pan American highway project. He could have been differed, but wanted to serve, so we lived in Caracas Venezuela for two years.
So again, this picture of me was taken in 1946, back before Antiques. I must have been given a straw broom and delegated to clean up duty, probably for being a bratt, notice the Two Ts…
:)

Now, back to the regularly scheduled thread.
I will Go Away now

Almost 72, enough to bring up the average, but younger than some the old fossils lurking around here. But the kids here (y'know, like still in their 60s) likely wonder how I dare call some others "old fossils."
