good morning, I am buying a measuring device in Bedford nh and am looking for advice on moving it. it's 70" wide, 112" tall, 54" deep with a total weight of 2200lbs, i'm hoping someone here has experience dealing with this issue.

Go backwards
Sounds mysterious. How did it get to Bedford? I'd ask the current owner.

I image this "measuring device" is not a tape measure.
I have moved things that heavy many times with a fork lift. However if you need to get it in or out of a confined space you will need special equipment. Try calling Boston Safe Movers and see what they say. They have equipment designed to move heavy objects through a house or office. |
shaughnessy & ahern....
....these guys may be more than you need, but they are real pros and have been around for a hundred years. My family is in the commercial construction business and uses them as a sub any time they need a crane, riggers, etc

Diggins and Rose in Manchester. Many years ago, I used them many times for moving large cnc machine tools. They have a rigging division and can move anything. Great to work with, at least many years ago...

National Mach Movers. I have moved several awkward heavy pieces and found this guys prices better than most of the bigger guys. Very friendly, family business and he will come out and give you a quote. Usually its him and his sons doing the job. National Machinery Movers. Fred Frisella. 603-669-1323 |
