Guy sits in his truck.....
 

OK.....so on rt. 109, about a mile north of the Museum in the Winter Harbor stretch there is a small home on the right going North with 2 pick up trucks in the driveway.....one red and one black.......and 9/10 times by there will be a guy sitting in that truck! What is his story? Can't smoke in the house? No heat in the house? Doesn't like his wife?

(ok so maybe I notice too much)

I'm not getting a very good visual. Let's keep this on a need to know basis and I really don't think we need to know this.

I have a guy who lives by my house that smokes in his car about 90% of the day. I can walk my dog by his house morning, noon or night and I’d bet my paycheck he is sitting in his car and it’s always running too. Very odd.

You are not the only person who wonders about this. But nobody seems to know and probably too embarrassed to ask him.

Well wouldn't you just stand outside and have one? Sad the grip cigarettes have on people. Recently lost a close friend to COPD not pretty. Non smokers can get it but probably 9 times out of 10 it's brought on by smoking (only guessing though!)

I though maybe his house was cold and he warmed up in his truck. I see him in it a lot when he is not smoking.

CG--great post! I have $5 for the guy who will ask Mr Truck what his story is. Who else is in?

Now-a-days I'd be careful offering people money to ask. "Mr. Truck" may just carry a weapon! Wouldn't want that on my mind... :eek:

He should take up ice fishing ..... simply drive the truck out onto solidly frozen, 19 Mile Bay and light one up ..... maybe switch to a high quality, expensive cigar, just for that special ice fishing experience .... away from the house .... the fish probably won't mind?

That just shows he's not a chain-smoker, tis [emoji6].

That's true, but at least it's humorous for a change. It is very curious because this guy is ALWAYS sitting in his truck. And if you talk to somebody about it who goes by there a lot, they ALL know who you are talking about. You can hardly miss it.

I seem to remember quit a few years ago this was mentioned in another thread and that he does sit in his truck to smoke. :eek:

Man I'm not sure what's got a bigger hold on him the butts or his wife. :D

UPDATE - House is empty.....truck is gone. We will never know his story :(

We saw people with masks on cleaning it out. There were bags and bags of trash piled outside.
