Looking for help / expertise
So I'm a masshole with a house in Meredith. My question is this, I recently decided to put down pavers as my patio / driveway that lead into my garage. (Catch all)... I have 4 sleds of which 3 have picked track, this along with the ski's themselves tend to do damage and to hope protect my investment, I was looking for ideas of what I could build a track out of that could be dis-assmbled at years end. It should be noted, I am not the brightest bulb, but I have friends that are handy with tools etc... Last year I laid down 5 4 X 8 Pieces of 3/4 inch plywood, which worked well, especially when we got a little snow and they froze in.
I'm all ears/eyes on this thread. Again just want to protect my not so inexpensive investment and like to store a few and come and go out of the garage. |

Wheels (pic 1) or snowtracks (pic 2) for the skis and cut piece of horse stall mat for your track to ride on (pic 3)
You could also get one of these which I have also and works great for moving your sled around even on rough terrain with the optional wheels! Not the pic but this link.... https://youtu.be/ganIltLi1s4 |

Cut piece of horse stall mat, cheap, tough as nails and available at any tractor supply, blue seal, agway, etc, etc.

Yup just what dan said. I went to tractor supply and bought four stall mats for just under a hundred bucks and use them in the driveway when I have to run the machine on and off the trailer or into garage. I believe they are 4'x6'

Wow dan that thing is cool. I might have to look into that......

I've got something similar to that but not quite that fancy. It does the trick and I'm going to measure it for bigger wheels. I don't worry too much about my driveway, it's pretty beat up anyway.

Seriously, All good ideas from the posts before me. This is why this Forum is near the top of the Page. It started out as a SUB-Forum back in 2006. Thanks to all who support it! One other point of interest, this Thread has put this over the 4,000 Post mark!!!! Sorry, I have this thing about statistics. WINNOCTURN |

Thanks Dan. I just ordered on Amazon. It will save my new garage floor and much easier than casters. |

$ 265.00 on Amazon with the additional tire kit for easy outside use |
I would think the carbides would grab those and bunch them up, it sounded like his idea of plywood is the easiest way to go. Maybe a bit of furring strip to hold them together?

Yes no doubt the skis would grab onto the mats and bunch them up.... Dan |
