I'm New to Fishing this Area

I'm pretty much a novice around here, but hoping to get out some more this summer on the Squams (Big, Little, & Winni). Would love to know what lures have been successful? Any advice? ;)

A black medium sized hula popper (top water) in May/June after sunset along the shorelines can be a very exciting way to fish for smallmouth.

I used to use live bait all the time but now I use Bitter Baits salty slings with a 2.0 hook (available at AJ's). The small mouth and large mouth love them

Go to AJ's in Meredith. He will give you great advise and sell you anything you are missing.
