to help while away the hours

We're going to be cooped up for a long time; seems to me it might be apt to swap suggestions for music or reading.

Here's an apt tune, "Down I-5" recorded here in Portland, performed by Case/ Lang/Viers:

Bat Wingspan...

We also could read up on why we're in this deadly mess:
:rolleye2:
Quote:

"Australia's geographic proximity to tropical Asia gives a high diversity of domestic bat species to work with. The hardest part about accommodating a mammal with a six-foot wingspan :eek2: was convincing the animal-care reviewers that the bats would not get too cold during the three-hour flight..."

I'm an avid youtuber: i view, never post, and also google whenever I have a question about something, and / or turn to wiki.

It's amazing how much has changed since I grew up; back in the day my hunger for learning about life and the world around me had encycopedias as the main info source: now they're gone ... poof.

No more lying in the bathtub, reading World Book to the point the bottoms of each lettered volume all got warped from absorbing moisture from the bath water on my stomach.

I am listening to more music and reading more books now than normal.

One thing I really dislike about the new rules is it prevents me from spending time with my son, daughter in law and grandson: they live a mile away and how can you tell your loving little five year old grandson "You can't come near me, you can't hug me?"
