El Paso??
 

Has anyone been to El Paso, the Mexican (I assume) restaurant that just opened at the EconoLodge across from Lake Winnisquam? I noticed that they put up a lot of NOW OPEN! signs along the road the other day, trying to attract attention.

I haven't been in yet, but I was told it's the same owner(s) as Vida in the Weirs.

How is Vida? I thought El Jimador was OK.

I have not tried it but my chiropractor is in the same center and they said it is very good and extremely large portions

We tried it a few weeks ago, average at best. Generally, with our luck with takeout orders we go thru the order as the bags are handed to us. In some cases, this is a bit of a pain as the bags are usually packed. More often than not something is missing. In this case with Vida a few weeks ago the order was about $150 and was packed in two large bags. I said to myself… I am sure it is all there so I did not check. We get home and of course two items are missing. So, we called and normally it is a quick, next time you are in let us know and we will give you credit for the items. Not in this case, the woman started to push back and said they are sure it is all there and check again. We politely said the two items are missing and the attitude we got was a bit much, I will leave it at that. Not a place we will be going back to anytime soon.
