public swim areas for dogs?
 

Many of you are fortunate enough to have lake-front properties for your pups! For those of us who don't have that luxury, can anyone tell me of places where your dogs can swim legally? I've seen people down in Alton Bay near the dock several times. Are there other good places to let your dog get some swimming exercise and fun? We are in the Gilford area.

Ahearn park, Laconia (on Winnisquam). it's accessed from the former prison entrance on rte. 106.
