Transportation from Pease to Moultonborough

Does anyone have experience with transportation from Pease International Airport? Our flight arrives on a Saturday at 5:35 or so, and the car rental places close at 6, so there’s no room for delays or any glitches. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Before you write off the rental car option, check with the available company(ies) on their flight-delay policy. For example, if notified of a flight delay, Enterprise will stay open up to 2 extra hours past closing, and Hertz online states they simply stay open (no time limitation).

Enterprise has been my go-to. During regular business hours, they will bring the car to your home, so your vehicle stays home. You can bring the car back any time, just drop the keys in the lockbox when you arrive after hours. Or you can arrange to drop the car off first thing in the morning without penalty.

A little trick. I always reserve a sub-compact. When you arrive they almost always have them unavailable so you get an upgrade at no cost. On my recent trip to Florida, I landed at Fort Myers very late. The only vehicle they had available was a 4door Jeep with a soft top. I got a convertible for the price of a sub-compact!

As stated above, when renting a car always reserve the least expensive car that you can.

When you get there they may attempt to offer you a tremendous deal to upgrade but be sure not to give in. Stand firm.

When all is said and done, you may find that the only vehicles left on the lot are larger sized vehicles and you'll get one at the compact sized quoted price....

Enjoy the savings!

I used www.lakes-taxi.com and it was $1.50/mile or something, about one year ago and everything went very good. Should definitely set it up one or two days in advance.
