T-Mobile Internet

I was surprised to see that T-Mobile offers home internet at our address in Meredith. It is $50/month for non-T-Mobile customers. Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile's internet? Also wondering if you can shut it off seasonally. Thanks for any insight you can provide!

It is not available at my address (yet), but everyone I know who has it loves it. And I'm pretty sure there's no contract, so it can be used from month-to-month.

Depending on your other options, I'd say it's definitely worth looking into it.

T-mobile internet is available in my area. The speed is fairly low (+-300mps.)

I used that info to leverage Spectrum to trim my bill from $94 to $59.

That's good savings.

Here in MA

I can say we have it here in MA and it is wonderful for the price.

We had Xfinity and I was skeptical about the performance but we used it for a couple of weeks (along with 2 teenagers and all that bandwidth) and no one noticed any difference.

I will say that we have the 5GLTE (High Speed Service) in the area and if the hub is not connected to that service, your performance may not be as good.

They should offer you a 2 week free trial to test it out - at least they did back when we switched over a year ago.

Don't get wired internet confused with wireless internet.

t-mobile cell and internet experience

after 20 yrs with verizon we switched to T-mobile this past fall, prompted by the good deals for a upgraded iPhone 15 Pro. I was a little skeptical about whether the signal would be as reliable but there was a way that T-mobile allows you to use their signal while still with a verizon phone to test out there system in advance of purchasing (I can't recall the details here but ask Tmobile how to do it). Anyway, I was satisfied with the service coverage on the lake and in the surrounding area so we switched. Part of my annoyance with Verizon is they will offer all sorts of enticements for new customers but nothing for current long time customers. Enough was enough for me. Am very happy with T mobile and I have to say their customer service and technical support staff really want to keep me a satisfied customer. Can't say the for Verizon. When we told Verizon we were leaving they offered a small discount to stay. Adios.
Tmobile tried to sell me on internet and offered a money back guaranteed so I tried it but it was way to slow so sent equipment back, got credit. They called and said we should try it again later as they upgrade their towers to faster speeds. (your experience may be better than mine depending on your tower)I would be happy to try again as they are easy to do business with and it would be a real savings over spectrum but I did not want to sacrifice speed. I also look forward to NH Electric Coop continuing to expand their broadband network to Moultonborough at some pt in the next couple of years. Everyone that has it loves their speed and cost.

Any idea what the lowest priced option is and if there are contracts?

Which island?
We have HUB66 on Welch, some from Gunstock antenna and some from Meredith. They have been expanding island service and you can see on their website if you are in their service area.

Checked it out already. Too pricey for me. I値l wait for the CoOp to do its thing. Better speed at lower price.

T-Mobile internet vs Comcast

Thank you Hubbard for starting this thread. I'll be interested in everyone who responds because we re moving into Long Bay and are evaluating T-Mobile vs Comcast (Infinity) for internet and streaming. The T Mobile coverage map (on their site) says our area has 5 G Ultra Capacity (says "UC means that 5G ultra wideband is much more responsive than 5G, making it ideal for applications that require real-time communication, such as online gaming and video conferencing".) - guess we'll have have to try it to see. :)
