Recommendation for someone to install kitchen counter

While cooking dinner today I had a small fire. My husband grabbed the pan that was on fire and put it on the counter.. OOPS! It's not a huge area but it will need to be replaced.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

What material is the counter made of?
What material will the new counter be made of?

It's a thick laminate I think +++

We would probably replace it with another laminate. Here's a pic. Hopefully I did this correctly.

It can be done as a preformed DYI project.
But if it is something you would rather someone else do... the best method was to go to your nearest building supply center, they will have a kitchen showroom.
Once you pick what you would like for the counter, they should be able to supply an installer name and contact information that should quote you a price to acquire and install the counter.

The options on laminates are actually very broad, and include edge detail and backsplash, so take the time to get the color and details that fit in your budget.
